Contextual Admissions Indicator Tool

The University of Liverpool is committed to making our admissions process as fair and equal as possible. To do this we look at the information applicants provide during the UCAS application process.

Are you eligible for a contextual offer?

A contextual offer is made when information you provide tells us that you have experienced barriers to your educational progression. To find out if you are eligible, please submit the information required into this Contextual Admissions Indicator Tool to find out if you meet our criteria.

Learn more about Contextual Admissions at the University of Liverpool.

If you are eligible for a reduced contextual offer, you do not need to do anything further. All information we need is provided in your UCAS application form and if your information does trigger a contextual offer, you will be informed in your offer.

If the information you provide does not result in a contextual offer but you feel you have had barriers to your educational progression, then please visit our Disrupted Education page as you may still be eligible for additional consideration.

How to find out if you are eligible for a contextual offer

You are now going to be asked a series of questions. Please go through this process to determine if you are eligible for a reduced offer:

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, at this point in time, asylum seekers and Applicants with refugee status are not eligible for contextual admissions. For further support with your application please go to: Disrupted Education Programme - Widening Participation - University of Liverpool.

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, as an international student you are not eligible for contextual admissions. However, you can find advice and support on international applications at: International - University of Liverpool.

If you are already participating in our Scholars or Realising Opportunities programmes, then your application will receive additional consideration as part of that agreement. For any further information please go to: Scholars - Widening Participation - University of Liverpool.

If you have experienced social care in any way, regardless of your age at the time or the duration spent in care, you may be eligible for contextual admissions. This includes foster periods pre-adoption. Please continue to provide information so we can assess your eligibility.
